Sample Polish Death Record

The sample below is typical of the type of European vital records that I can obtain for clients using resources available here in the U.S. This is the November 1, 1859 death record of 41-year old Uszer (Asher) Gutglik of Miedzryzec Podlaski, Poland, the great-great-great-grandfather of a client. The record indicates that he was survived by his wife, Chane Sure, two sons, Markiel and David, and a daughter Maryam. This individual's marriage record was also found, as were over 60 other documents on the Gutglik family.
